We had 54 people enjoy a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner with us. Several church members, family, and friends helped cook, serve, and clean.
There were 96 children who received Christmas gifts through Catholic Charities. We also provided gifts to the Elks Lodge and NAOMI House (Children’s Foster Care Home) for their Christmas programs.
Catholic Charities works with other organizations in our community. On June 25th, we helped with a large fresh produce city distribution at the park. We helped organize, find volunteers, and get boxes for this event. Then helped at the event all day; served about 300 people—not in our #’s above.
We also give out school backpacks in July that are provided by an organization named Wings of Faith. They provide food, clothing, and hygiene products throughout the year.
We cannot meet the needs of the community without your prayers, financial support, physical help, or volunteers. Our greatest need is financial support for operational costs.
Thank you for your support and help!
