CIC Catholic Charities Provides the Following Services

Assist clients with past due rent or utilities, food vouchers, clothing, formula, diapers, and car seats. We also help clients with the fees to obtain an ID, driver’s license, birth certificates, and some prescriptions. We can also refer clients to other agencies that can help. Clients must be residents of McKinley County for utility, rent, and food vouchers.

Provides a hot meal for clients in the winter months, October-April, Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday mornings from 7:30AM - 10:00 AM or till we run out of food.

Clients are also able to get clothing, hygiene products, socks, backpacks, blankets, and shoes when needed and, depending on what we have available, at no cost.

Provides stranded travelers with a night’s stay in a hotel, gas, and/or food. We work with the local and county law enforcement agencies to provide this service. We also provide bus or train tickets on a case-by-case basis, and if funds are available.

Provides clothing, household items, furniture, and other miscellaneous items. Items at a low cost. The thrift store is open Monday through Thursday from 9 AM - 3 PM. Closed Fridays.

We collect toys and Christmas gifts for families that cannot afford to buy Christmas gifts for their children. We also collect winter clothing for children.

We also provide families with Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner boxes.

This is for high school students in our area who would like to attend Homecoming, Prom, or any other formal school event and cannot afford formal wear. We have dresses, shoes, men’s dress shirts and pants, ties, and accessories to “rent”.

We take referrals from other social service agencies, schools, and hospitals for their clients who need help.
All programs are subject to eligibility.
